Welcome! I've got author Nicole Andrews Moore here for a cover reveal! And it is an awesome cover!
Sometimes the life you planned isn’t the one you get to
live. Sometimes the pain of the past
overshadows the future. And sometimes to
start over you have to go back to where it all began. That’s how it was for Joe Masters. That’s how he ended up back in New Hope. And that’s why he was in his thirties and had
nothing to show for his life. He needed
a complete overhaul, just like his father’s old house. Instead of a fast track, he had slowed down
and was on a ten year plan. These days
that was more his speed. And as much as
he tried to fight the inevitable, he was learning to accept and surrender.
Martha had weathered her fair share of storms in
Vermont, was accustomed to the cold, both the chill in the air and the cold
shoulder in her marriage, but after the miscarriage she felt like she would
never get warm again. So she did the
research from the laptop while sitting in front of the fireplace. She knew what she needed when she Googled
hope, she just never imagined that it would bring her to New Hope, South
Carolina. She never imagined that her
husband would trick her into leaving and never follow. She never imagined that a southern storm with
all its force and fury could be so destructive.
But after the storm, the land is washed clean. It’s perfect for a fresh start, a clean
slate, and a new love.
Today, I am spotlighting THE VISCOUNTS PLEASURE HOUSE by Suzi Love.
Lady Chrissie Wellsby and her two
country friends research dozens of rogues before selecting the notorious
Viscount Hawkesbury, owner of London’s most exclusive and expensive brothel, to
educate them in erotic seduction. The ladies abandon respectability and coerce
Justin Tremayne into letting them visit The Pleasure House and to teaching them
the sensual tricks mistresses and prostitutes use to entertain men.
Though Justin believes three naive
ladies will see the debauched romps in his themed rooms, cover their eyes and
ears, and run back to their sheltered lives, he underestimates the desperation
of abandoned women who imagine a wider knowledge of sex will keep the men in
their lives at home, in their own beds. But despite watching several of their
friends, men and women, perform raunchy acts at his brothel, the ladies insist
on participating in the last of Justin’s infamous Sultan’s galas, held in
numerous silk tents and outdoor bathing areas on his estate.
Justin concedes to Chrissie’s demands
only to gain information about his long-lost mother and sisters, but the
world-weary viscount falls head over heels in love with his emotionally bruised
pupil. He yearns for a wife, children, and an uncomplicated wife, but can he
convinced Chrissie to take a chance and marry again? Because Justin never wants
to leave her bed.
Today I am handing the blog over to author Tara Chevrsett!
Giveaway & Cover Art Reveal for Maiden Behind
You know you’ve done something right in the cover
art department when you see not one, but two just like it show up on your
Facebook or Amazon feed. Only different titles and author names.
Behind the Mask was first published, it had a home with a publisher. Now,
the image I wanted and put on the art form was declared too expensive. If
you’re an author, you’ve been there. With much grumbling and sighing, I
searched for stock art images that looked like a Spanish woman in 1800s Los
Angeles (then a part of Mexico) dressed as Zorro.
That saying “looking for a needle in a haystack...”
Welcome Sidda Lee Tate back to the blog to tell us a little more about her new release, HIJACKED.
Book Two in The Night Series
Will an unexpected encounter leave Sharon's heart hijacked?
When Sharon Blake meets Kyle Phillips her first instinct is to simply seek the pleasure she's certain he can give her. But surprisingly, she feels a strong connection with him, something she's never experienced before, and that conflicts with everything she's always believed—sex is sex and nothing more.
The last woman Kyle trusted with his heart betrayed him, and he has no interest in getting involved with anyone. There's only one problem—now that he's met Sharon, he craves her touch, her laughter, the look in her eyes when he pulls her near.
Kyle and Sharon soon realize that being apart isn't an option. Someone else, though, has different plans for Kyle, and Sharon is left questioning everything he's told her. Kyle tries to explain, to make things right again, but Sharon doesn't know if she can trust him, and her instinct is to walk away now before her heart is bruised even further.
Sonia Hightower has a new story out! It's a short naughty story. (IR, menage, m/f/m.) Those of you who have read books one and two know what to expect from these. Below is a blurb and an excerpt. Hope you get a kick out of it. ;)
It’s time for the Annual Regional Wine Competition, and Charmaine is in town, ready to taste, evaluate, and judge, but stress is weighing on her from her day job, and airport security gave her some trouble over a “little” something special in her luggage.
But she just may get her stress relief elsewhere—like from the two hot servers pouring her drinks.
Little does she know the two men are already competing. Dominic and Logan work for rival wineries, and each is there to watch the other and ensure there’s no “monkey business” during the competition.
But nobody said the monkey business couldn’t happen after the competition. After all, sometimes tasting isn’t enough.
Please welcome to the blog today. She has a new release, A FALLOW HEART. But before we learn a little more about it, she's going to chat a little bit about dealing with non-book lovers. Yes, they do exist!
I was going to title this post, “How to deal with non-book lovers,” but yeah, I have no clue how to deal with such foreign beings. My husband is one, and I still love him, but we don’t exactly talk books, so…
I’ll talk about the fun quirks of being an author, or of simply being an enjoyer of books. Feel free to jump in with your own experiences!
The wheel of the year
turns, bringing the joy of spring, the warmth of summer, the richness of
autumn, and the merriment of winter. But eight Celtic festivals link
these seasons together, bringing with them romance, lust, danger, and
even magic. From a city under threat from night-time creatures at
Ostara, to a selkie caught by the light of the Lughnasadh moon, to a
writer caught in the flames of a fiery goddess at Imbolc.
authors have come together to give their own twist on these festivals,
weaving each story with a blend of myth, magic, and contemporary
telling…to create A Celtic Tapestry

Author ER Pierce has stopped by to reveal her cover for Duality - set to release April 16 2013
Cordelia Kelly is running from her tortured past. She's run from her destiny all her life, and now she's forced to stop running by events beyond her control. Cordelia is a dual-natured empath – meaning she is receptive to the emotional aura, positive and negative, of those around her. Dark and forbidden emotions call to Delia, the remorseless dark entity who shares her body. Cordelia struggles to create harmony between the light and dark sides of her existence. She's also an elemental, but her inherent powers are slowly manifesting with age and time. Now the scales of good versus evil are tilting in the wrong the direction. Will she succumb or evolve to fulfill her destiny?
Sol Winterborn is not your typical hero, if anything he’s an anti-hero. Moral indecision riddle his path to redemption, but the undeniable truth he holds dear, is his search for his lighthouse – his soul mate. When fate throws Cordelia in his path, he's unprepared but can't stay away. Her siren call sings a song he can't ignore. The internal battle she wages to blend her conflicting dual natures is reminiscent of his own struggles. He sees in her a kindred spirit, the one he’s searched long nights to find and she just might be the key to unlock his heart. When his own dark past catches up with him, will he risk his life for love?
“We can be redeemed only to the extent to which we see ourselves.” ~ Martin Buber
This weekend I devoured a novella series--or at least the first 2 in the series. I hope there are more to come. Today is the official release day to HIJACKED, the next book in the Night series by Sidda Lee Tate. I loved it. In the first book, THE FIRST NIGHT, we meet Sharon. She's Kayla's friend and to be honest, Sharon rubbed me wrong in the first one. I didn't find her to be the greatest friend to Kayla. Then again, as friends they were like night and day. But in HIJACKED, I loved Sharon. This story is exactly what I imagined it would be for her. Both these book are great. You'll devour them in one sitting. So if you pick them up. Be warned, when you plant your butt in your chair, you aren't getting up. HIJACKED can be read alone, but personally I think you should read THE FIRST NIGHT first.
Through all the years that passed, the memory of their love never faded.
Motivational speaker and drug rehab counselor Ward Gemmell can hold an audience in the palm of his hand-because he knows what it's like to have everything he loved slip through his fingers. When a particularly heartfelt speech reunites him with the daughter he never knew he had, suddenly the love of his life is back within his grasp. What could a guy like him do to earn a second chance?
Good girl Ansley Marlow was heartbroken the day Ward revealed his hidden life-the kind of secret that would tear anyone apart. But so many years have passed and so much has changed that it isn't as hard now for her to believe in fate and redemption, even when those around her are unforgiving. All she needs is the strength to reach out and reclaim the beautiful life she should have had so long ago.
My good friend Tara Chevrestt has a new release today, AFTERBURN. And it looks good. I've got a copy in my hands and I hope to read it soon and share my thoughts with you.
Crystal is an enlisted mechanic with a tragic past. Grant is an officer and a pilot with a broken heart. When faced with a difficult decision, will Crystal choose wisely or lose the best thing that ever happened to her?
The love between them burns hot, but their relationship won't stay fueled if they can't beat the obstacles in their way. Besides breaking the fraternization rules, Grant and Crystal have the difference of race between them…but can they prove to the rest of the world, and to each other, that love is color blind?
Afterburn is about overcoming one's past, not judging others, learning to forgive, and what it's like to be a woman in a "man's world".
