Tell us a little about yourself.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband and three kids. We have a black lab who sleeps under my chair while I work and write. The cat rules the upstairs - no dogs allowed. I work from home for my day job. I'm a cable systems design engineer. Basically, I draw schematics for cable systems. My daughter likes to say mommy draws pictures and writes stories for a living.
I like to garden. We moved into our new house last year, and I've finally had time to put in the garden, though it's still a work in progress. The apple tree bloomed beautifully and I hope to have apples this fall. The roses are gorgeous. Can't wait for the bushes to fill out. The daylilies and dahlias are blooming in a profusion of color.
