A Sunday Kind of Love by Charley Descoteaux - Character Interview!

Today I've got Charley Descoteaux stopping by with one of her characters. Sit back and enjoy this great character interview!

Thanks so much for hosting me, Lacey!

I love character interviews, and most readers seem to feel the same. My favorite kind are the ones with the supporting cast—they don’t get as much page-time as the MCs but often have great stories to tell.

My Amber Allure novella A Sunday Kind of Love is about Jake and Mason but they needed a shove—and that’s where DJ comes in. He’s the type of guy who’s been toeing the line as best he can for years and is looking forward to calling his own shots and only pretending to be someone he’s not for scale or better.

Guardian Angel by Andrew P Weston

I love Andrew's work. He's got a unique writing style. Check out the first book in a new series of his.

In a series of terrifying events, otherworldly beings intervene to save innocent lives. The world community reacts with relief as they realize that angels may in fact exist, and they are diligently protecting us.
But there are those who would seek to stop what they feel is a threat against their livelihoods. How far will some go to battle the Guardians? Is the fairy tale over before it even begins?
Guardian Angels is a powerful and compelling story about the catalyst that has the power to unite society in the hope for a better future. The spark of hope is fragile—can it last?

Guest Post: Sarah Belle, author of Hindsight.

Please welcome Sarah Belle, author of Hindsight, to the blog today! I hand the blog over to Sarah:

Could you imagine waking up on your lounge room floor, with an aching head, throbbing, bleeding eye and then not being able to recognise anything in the room, with the exception of your husband and child, who look as though they belong in ‘Leave it to Beaver’ instead of the modern day?
Could you imagine living in a world devoid of modern technology? No mobile phone, computer, Ipod, DVD player, Washing machine, Microwave oven, coffee machine...not even an indoor toilet!
How about losing your financial independence – your job / career, credit cards? Unless you belonged to a wealthy family, you most likely finished formal education when you were 15 years old and then went on to work in retail, manufacturing or as a secretary. Marriage and childbirth ended any dreams of a career as your role was to be a housewife and mother – for the rest of your life!

Damian Gonsalves believes he has a cure for the virus changing innocent people into bloodthirsty undead. Within Laura is the key to stopping the horrific plague. All he has to do is keep her alive and safe, and stay one step ahead of those pursuing them. Her stubbornness frustrates him to no end, while her body drives him to distraction.

Welcome Kaylie Newell - Taming Johnny

I have a fellow Beachwalk Press author taking stage today! I'm excited to have Kaylie Newell here. :) I've read her new release and it's quite spicy and will keep you turning the pages to learn about the mysterious and dark Johnny!

Take it away Kaylie:
I worked in a police department for almost ten years, so it’s probably no surprise that I write about cop heroes. That old saying about a man in uniform really is true.  Pretty hard to resist J
But the next best thing to a fictional cop hero, is one on the big screen.  Yum!
Here’s my top list of movies with the most crush worthy police officer heroes.  Warning: Watching any of these could result in the overwhelming urge to drive above the speed limit so as to get pulled over on purpose. View at your own risk.

Review: Lost Without You by Heather Thurmeier

The day comes when every series must end. I have had the opportunity the read and review the three books in Heather Thurmeier's Reality TV Series. And each book has been fun and unique. The last book, Lost Without You, was no exception. In all the stories, the heroine Zoe has appeared. Book one (Falling For You), I didn't like her. Book 2 (Stuck on You), we began to see her in a new light, and now in book 3 (Lost Without You), we see her for who she is.

I had an idea in Falling For You (book 2) that Chip was going to be Zoe's man. And it was fun seeing them come together. Though Zoe didn't make it easy at all. She was so hot and cold to poor Chip, she's lucky he didn't throw in the towel. But trust me, Zoe has a reason as to her ways. It's a mystery kept throughout the story until finally the big reveal comes. There are several small plots in the book that keep this story rolling. Especially a character named Alex is who connect to Zoe's past.

Heather does a great job ending the series. But thankfully she isn't going anywhere as an author and we can keep reading her wonderful stories. Check out this series--especially if you love reality tv.
